Neuvième: Critique de livre

Bonjour! :)

How's everyone? It's been months since I wrote an entry here... I wish someone's still reading this..hahaha so today, I just read one of the sweetest and most romantic novels EVER. I've read hundreds, but this one zoomed straight on top of my most beloved stories ever. Wanna know what novel it is?:)

It's Anna and the french kiss! Yeah, call me biased or whatever, but what a great novel!! I must admit I got interested to read this because of the Parisian setting but once I got through it, I'm pretty sure I was in love with a boy from a book AGAIN.(damn this life.hahaha:p)

When I read a book, I usually don't care about the female lead as much as I care about the male one. When I tell stories to my friends about a book, or send them quotes from the book I've last read, it's usually centered on the male protagonist because they usually have the best lines and they are so perfectly described on the books and well, I'm a female so I fall in love with them everytime:D But with Anna and the french kiss, I can honestly say that I love the perfectly flawed Anna Oliphant as much as I love the french-american boy who speaks british, Etienne St. Clair.(what a fine boy<3) They are both imperfect but they are perfect for each other, which I guess is the best formula for romance. Definitely one of the best teen romance I've ever read!! Can someone tell me where can I find my own Etienne?<3<3<3

Stephanie Perkins did an AMAZING job in describing Paris! Darn, I really felt like I was in Paris, walking through those cinemas Anna loved and admiring the gorgeous Notre Dame<3 Now I have another place to yearn for there, the point zero, which is special for the both of them... I am forever a sucker for romance, and Paris!<3 Someday baby..:)

I recommend this book for everyone who loves romance like me. Yes, even if you don't like Paris that much, the story makes up for it. Or if you don't like romance that much, the way Paris was treated here is worth it.  I promise this a very, very good book. Deux pouces en l'!<3

Un jour, Paris:)

Aside from dreaming about Paris, I'm a big Kpop fan!:) Blame it on a friend:P haha kidding! So in Kpop, there's your BIAS who is the artist you want the most. Amis, meet my girl BIAS, Sandara "Goddess" Park:">*insert fangirl scream*

I was like, NO FREAKIN' WAY!!!O____O My girl just updated with a book about my dream place!! How awesome is that?! :)))) Then I suddenly remembered Dara with CL, Bom and Minzy collectively known as 2NE1 went to France last June for the Cannes Lions 59th International Festival of Creativity. They went there as guest speakers. Yep, they're that AWESOME!:)

They also had a photoshoot there! OMG you do know how awesome France is for sessions like that right?! Here is one of their photo!

So to you Rynel, continue to work hard, but not too much. I can't keep upT___T hahaha! Ya know it'll be better if we go in the City of Lights TOGETHER!! It wouldn't be fun without me:P hahaha! Merci for the photo! It made my day..:"> Love yew!:*

Sixième

Hello people! Comment êtes-vous? ;)

This is probably the most "accidental post" in this blog so far. Hahahaha but I love it!

I am a twitter addict. When I wake up in the morning, my phone is the first thing I look for to log in my account. It is also the first site I open everytime I open my laptop *I am realizing how addict I am while writing this* hahaha! So while I am exchanging tweets to my lovely friends there, I accidentally looked at the trending topics and voila! Trending topic baby!!:)

Seems like many people share my dream! Let's all work hard and keep believing in the power of our dreams!:) Here are some quotes for ya'll! Let's keep the faith!:)

"When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by
dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing,
then we truly live life." - Greg Anderson

"Have the courage to follow your dreams. It's the first step towards attaining your destiny." - Nikita Koloff

"Happy are those who dream dreams and are willing to pay the price to make them come true." -Anonymous

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."  -C.S Lewis

Goodnight from the Philippines! Avoir une belle journée <3

Cinquième

Avoir la foi

Hi everyone! Below are the FIVE PLACES I WILL VISIT FIRST ONCE I'M IN PARIS. This is my list of "If I could go on these places straight from the airport, I will":P hahaha! Take a look:)

1. Notre Dame Church

     http://www.sacred-destinations.com

So the scenario will be I arrived in Paris, France at 7 in the morning. The first place I will visit is this beautiful and historical Notre Dame Church. I will never pass the chance to pray and give glory to HIM because he gave me the chance to fulfill my dream

2. The Louvre Museum

Mona Lisa anyone?:) I'd definitely visit this museum! It is a Paris landmark and I can just imagine the gorgeous and expensive paintings inside. Other than that, the paintings and sculptures are important part of the world history so it's a must to see them for me to learn something new:)

3. Avenue Montaigne

Paris is the fashion capital of the world, so there's a LOT of shopping districts there. Avenue Montaigne is one of them. Imagine designer brands like Chanel, LV and Jimmy Choo in the streets. That's exactly what Avenue Montaigne contains!:D I will definitely visit this district to window-shop. Yes, window-shop only. Hahaha:P

4. La Seine

           http://inhabitat.com

Ahhhhh, the gorgeous Seine River! Of course I will NEVER let the chance of touring Paris in a boat pass, especially when the river is as beautiful as this one:) I think this will be better if you'll tour at night, with all the beautiful lights surrounding you. You are in the City of Lights after all:">

5. Eiffel Tower

I just have to save the best for last:) Paris isn't Paris if not for this beautiful and historic landmark. If I am given the chance, I'd prolly go here everyday of my life.haha:D I can just imagine the sense of happiness a person would feel if he is on top of this building and looking-over the City of Paris. If that would be me, I'd definitely feel like I'm the queen of the world. Hahaha! But yeah, Eiffel is really amazing to look at especially at night, with all those blinding lights and all. This is the last place I will visit on my first day in Paris because I want to be here at the evening, watching the gorgeous lights all over Paris, the City of Lights and Love

Am I dreaming too much guys? hahaha! Please bear with me! Thanks for reading

Essayer et essayer:)

Quatrième

Je suis un rêveur

I am so excited to write this post! I will give you my favorite shows which were filmed in Paris. It was sooooooo hard to choose because honestly, if a show is Paris-based, I get crazy already. LOL!:D But I've managed to choose my three favorites. Let's take a look shall we?:)

3.
www.imdb.com

If I am the fourth main star of this movie, we'd probably won't end up in Monte Carlo and stay in Paris forever because I will freakin' stop them to just even think of leaving! LOL.:P I must admit that the story wasn't as interesting as I expected but oh gosh, PARIS was gorgeously shot here!! I especially love the part when they were atop of Eiffel Tower and enjoying the view through telescopes:)  I'd definitely do that when I go there..:D Another thing that I really like about this movie is I saw myself in Selena's character; she dreams of going to Paris and worked hard to achieve that. She even worked as a waitress for her Paris fund. Its really inspiring! If only I'm not super lazy to do that.*sigh* But in fairness, Monte Carlo is also a very beautiful place. If you're someone whose also into gorgeous places like me, watch this! You'll fall in love with Paris and Monte Carlo:))

2.

I fell in love with KC  when I watched this♥ This is a documentary of what her life was when she was studying in Paris. She showed her apartment, her favorite restaurants and just everything that she learned to love  in Paris.  She narrated that life in Paris wasn't bed of roses for her; she struggled at first because it wasn't easy to adjust in a foreign place where you don't know anyone and your family's miles away from you, but she declined to give up and she eventually lived happily there in the course of four years. Watching this made me really, really inspired to pursue this dream. I know I have a long, long way to go but seeing how beautiful Paris is in this documentary, I intend to work hard, keep my faith and believe that I will be there in God's perfect time

1.

www.wetpaint.com

Forgive my fangirl heart!:"> I chose this as my number 1 because I freakin' love Gossip Girl, and this Chuck and Blair scene from the show's season 4 is THE BEST I'VE SEEN FROM THEM. This was shot in Paris and that fact made this scene a million times better!!! I've provided a link, please watch it! I promise this is worth your time..:">

Adieu!:)

Troisième

Je suis de retour!:)

When you're talking about Paris, there is NO WAY you won't think of the Eiffel Tower. Its arguably the most famous landmark in the City of Love. It is actually the first thing that comes into my mind BUT this cutiepie food is a close second! Ladies and Gents, meet the star of this post: MACARON.:)

A macaron is a sweet meringue-based confectionery made with egg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food colouring. The macaron is commonly filled with ganache, buttercream or jam filling sandwiched between two cookies. Its name is derived from the Italian word maccarone or maccherone but France is its place of origin.

I've seen macarons in lots of blog posts before, but I didn't knew it was available here in the Philippines. Thanks to a friend of mine who likes to try different foods, I first tasted this pretty little thing last April in Glorietta:)Look!:)

These are Bizu's version of macarons. I only bought one because its expensiveT_________T But its really good!! I'm really biased in anything sweets so I think its worth it.:) Sadly though, there is no Bizu branch near my location, so that was the last time I bought from Bizu:(

Pistachio flavor. YUM!:)

But thanks again to my friend, she found out that The French Baker now sells macarons too!*throws confetti* Its cheaper and slightly bigger so we're really happy! There's 4 flavors but PISTACHIO is really, really good! You won't regret trying it:)

Here are other photos. Prepare to salivate!:P

Craving already?! hahaha:P

On a more serious note, I LOVE it that they're selling it here in my country. Makes me feel that Paris is closer to home

A super-duper thank you to my friend Dedeth for the photos! And yes, she's also the one who encouraged me to try macarons♥ Please visit her blog! She takes awesome food pictures!:) http://dedethmojica.tumblr.com/

That's it! Thank you for reading my blog:)

Jusqu'à la prochaine fois!

Bonsoir from the Philippines!:)

Hello guys! This post will feature my humble collection of anything Paris:"> Since it has been a long-time dream of mine to go in the City of Lights and I cannot be there as of this moment, I just comforted myself with cutesy Paris stuffs like these:D

DYARAN!!! These are memo pads, little notebooks and sticky notes that I NEVER use. I don't have the heart to use them, they are too cuteT____T hahaha! :))))))

Here are my other stuff and how I got them:)

My Paris Luggage! I used it when we went to Singapore last year.. I LOVE it because my mom and brother bought this for my birthday so this will always be a favorite of mine..:D

Paris sticker set and sticking memo! These was given by a dear friend last Christmas..:) I appreciate it so much because she also collects Paris stuff but she opted to give these to me. Hahaha!:D Honestly, out of all the items I have, the sticker set is the one that is really TEMPTING to use. The stickers are ASDFGHJKL pretty! I'm really having a hard time controlling myself.T___T But I must stay firm! I won't use it!!*for now*

I'm really in love with this one!! Its an accordion pocket that I bought at a bookstore. I love it because I believe its a rare find:) It is not expensive but its really, really pretty!! Definitely one of my fave

Its prettier in black and white!:">

Paris wall clock! I got this as a surprise from my family I actually saw and wanted to buy this a long time ago but my mom said its too pricey for a clock, so I let it pass. But after a week my brother said they have a surprise for me and showed me this!! Sweet isn't it?:">

Paris pin! A friend also gave this to me:) She said she found this lying around her dorm and she thought of me that's why she gave it to me. Sweet!! Actually, my friends always call my attention whenever they see anything Paris. I'm glad that they do that, but I would be HAPPIER if they actually buy it for me:P hahaha kidding! I love my friends

My latest acquisition! Thanks to my mom for the money!:* hahaha I like it because its blue and of course, its Paris

This is not mine but I LOVE it so much!! Its my godmother's Eiffel tower miniature given by her cousin working in Paris. Whenever I go to her house, I always wish she would just give this to meT_____T Oh well, I'll just buy the REAL Eiffel Tower. LOL. :P

That's it! If you guys want to donate items like these, please just contact me through this blog. I promise I will take care of it very well. HAHAHA KIDDING!:)

Première

Bonjour!:)

This is a blog of a girl who dreams of being in yup, PARIS *insert giddy smile here*. For starters, let's have a background about this awesome place:)
from www.good-wallpapers.com

Paris is the capital and largest city of France. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Ile-de-France region. Paris is known for its famous buildings and works of art, its chic fashion scene and its modern literary, artistic, and intellectual ideals, and is a must for anyone wishing to experience the best of both contemporary and age old European culture.
(www.planeteye.com, www.wikipedia.org)

My dream to Paris started way back in high school. I was crazy for anything vintage and Europe is prolly the best vintage-y place on earth. Out of all the European countries, I BADLY want to go in Paris. No words can explain how GORGEOUS this place seems to be. I've actually watched countless of documentaries and tour videos about the place and it only strengthens my desire to fulfill this dream of mine. In a few years time, I hope and pray I'll be updating this blog in a french restaurant, eating macarons while looking at the amazing Eiffel Tower.*imagine me saying this while I have a dreamy look on my face* Everyone, please pray for my dream to come true!haha:P

That's it for my first post! Thank you to the people who will spare time to read this!!If one of you shares this dream, I believe we'll see each other there. In God's time:)

Au Revoir! Bonne journée on your side of the world:*
